Alberta’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Deena Hinshaw shared some positives the province has seen in the fight against COVID-19 during her update on Friday, but was quick to say that the fight against the novel coronavirus was not over.
Hinshaw announced that the province had identified 1,413 new cases of COVID-19. There were 25 additional deaths, including a woman in her 20s with no known comorbidities. Not all the deaths happened in the previous 24 hours.
