With COVID-19 expected to continue to surge in Alberta, the provincial government is now making contingency plans to build field hospitals to help both patients and those who have died.

The plan comes as the province saw another daily COVID-19 record with 1,854 new cases, as well as 14 deaths.

As Heather Yourex-West explains, the province is prioritizing personal liberty and individual responsibility more than any other province, but some health officials are concerned the province hasn't done what it needs to bend the curve.
