FULL SHOW: Drugmakers experience problems with vaccine rollout

Over 134 million Americans have received at least the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. President Biden, touting 200 million doses have been given since taking office, but it’s far from a victory. There’s now concern about the pace of vaccinations slowing down, and other factors that may add to the skepticism surrounding vaccines in this country. RT America’s Trinity Chavez reports. (13:56)

On Earth Day, Swedish teen climate activist Greta Thunberg lectured US lawmakers on the threats faced by her generation during a House environmental subcommittee hearing. She expressed skepticism over President Biden’s pledge to slash greenhouse gas emissions in half by the year 2030. This comes amid a global pandemic, which saw emissions drop last year when lockdown measures were at their tightest. However, a year into the pandemic, certain sectors are seeing a surge in some types of pollution.
