In this full interview with Global News on Wednesday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau opened up about the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccine rollout. He also spoke about racism including the recent wave of anti-Asian hate as well as sexual assault and misconduct in the military.

Trudeau remained seemingly optimistic with the vaccine rollout as subsequent doses are set to arrive in the coming weeks and months and as the U.S. is set to deliver shipments to Canada. Plus, the prime minister believes Canada has strong border measures designed to protect the country from variants of the virus.
