Saskatchewan Health Minister Paul Merriman said Wednesday that the province has received its first shipment of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, and that the first doses will be sent to northern Saskatchewan.
Saskatchewan’s chief medical health officer, meanwhile, said Wednesday that those who have had COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus, should wait 90 days to be vaccinated against the virus “to get the full benefit of the vaccine.”
