Hospitals across the U.S. are receiving doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, less than a day after it received emergency use approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Many are hoping the vaccine will be another weapon against the disease as the country has broken records for new infections three days in a row and deaths rise to staggering levels.

Jennifer Johnson reports on the distribution campaign underway as a handful of state leaders complain they received far fewer doses of the Pfizer vaccine than expected.
