A new poll by Ipsos, exclusively for Global News, found just over two-thirds of Canadians surveyed, or 69 per cent, said they missed seeing work colleagues, but 78 per cent said they enjoy working from home.

The poll also found that just over half of those surveyed say they expect to return to work in an office in 2021, but only half actually want to stop working from home and return to the workplace.

Darrell Bricker, CEO of Ipsos, said while there are theories of how office life will be when people do return, it's really not known exactly what work life will be like. He also said it will be a challenge for employers to set up a work environment which takes the best of what was learned during the work from home experience and apply it to the in-office environment.
