With the first coronavirus vaccines already distributed throughout the country, Canadians are ready to put 2021 behind them and start fresh in the new year, according to a recent Ipsos poll.
The poll conducted exclusively for Global News, found 72 per cent of Canadians were optimistic about 2021.
But, as Ipsos CEO Darrell Bricker explained, Canadians are realistic that the virus isn’t going away in the first few months of the year.
He said most important to Canadians is the “feeling that they could control their own safety” in whatever environment their in.
