Lt.-Col. Raphaël Guay has been removed from his role as commandant of the Canadian Forces School of Military Intelligence, while he is investigated for allegations "brought forward by a single third-party complainant and refer to different incidents that could be possible breaches of conduct," according to the Department of National Defence.

The department would not confirm whether the allegations are sexual in nature. Guay is yet another senior member of the Canadian military under investigation for alleged misconduct.

As Mike Le Couteur reports in this Global News exclusive, opposition parties are hammering Canada's Liberal government over its handling of an institutional crisis.
