Lt. Gen. Jennie Carignan, the newly appointed senior officer in charge of rooting out sexual misconduct in the Canadian Armed Forces, testified before a parliamentary committee Tuesday to discuss plans for a badly-needed culture change in the Canadian military.
Her testimony came amid a slew of allegations and ongoing investigations of sexual misconduct involving numerous military leaders over the last several months.
