With the deadline to join a class-action lawsuit against the Canadian Armed Forces over sexual misconduct fast approaching, the number of claimants is ballooning.
What started with a few thousand claimants has now ballooned way beyond its initial number. The suit opened to claims in May 2020, but by December of that year there were nearly 3,000 claimants. Now there are more than 13,600 and counting.
As Abigail Bimman reports, people are still being urged to step forward.
