Canada unveils military sexual misconduct reforms

Defence Minister Anita Anand has unveiled changes to the Canadian military's handling of sexual misconduct complaints, following a series of high-profile cases.

48 recommendations were made by former Supreme Court justice Louise Arbour in a May 2022 report, which was prompted by what Prime Minster Justin Trudeau then called a “failing of the entire system.”
