Hockey Canada's chief financial officer revealed to the House of Commons heritage committee on Wednesday that the organization had paid out nine settlements from its National Equity Fund since 1978, for a total of $7.6 million.
In addition to that, another 12 sexual misconduct settlements had been made in the amount of $1.3 million, paid for by insurance.
Now, as Shallima Maharaj reports, MPs want to know why the board hasn't been more transparent.
