Brig.-Gen. Krista Brodie has been named the new head of logistics over Canada's vaccine rollout, days after her predecessor Maj.-Gen. Dany Fortin had to step aside due to a military investigation into sexual misconduct allegations.

Fortin's lawyer tells Global News his client still doesn't have details of the allegation via official channels and that Fortin "vigorously and categorically denies this allegation."

The allegations also come amid an institutional crisis across the Canadian military, with numerous investigations into allegations of sexual misconduct made against multiple current and former senior leaders.

Abigail Bimman reports on what's known about the allegations against Fortin so far and what comes next.
