Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava gave an update on Tuesday regarding the Surfside, Fla., condo collapse search and rescue mission as it entered its sixth day, announcing that she will be meeting with "subject area experts" to prevent future tragedies.

Levine Cava confirmed Monday evening that another body had been found during search efforts at the collapse site, bringing the total number of deaths from the incident to 11.

She said there are now 136 people accounted for and 150 still unaccounted for.

Earlier in the day, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis also told reporters that search and rescue teams had been working “for over 100 hours straight,” and that they vowed to keep looking for any possible survivors.

The cause of the collapse remains under investigation. Four Canadians are also confirmed to be among those still missing.
