Canadian Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre held a press conference on Sunday in Ottawa, accompanied by the party's shadow minister of health Stephen Ellis. He shared his plans for the country's health-care system, if elected prime minister.
Poilievre said if elected, he'd address Canada's "doctor shortage" by working with the provinces to develop a standardized test to license doctors and nurses, giving them a pass or fail within 60 days of applying.
Poilievre was also asked about alleged Chinese election interference. He accused Prime Minister Justin Trudeau again, of allowing Beijing to interfere, helping Liberals win, but alleges that China "targeted" Conservatives, too.
