It has been a dramatic week of Greenbelt developments at Queen's Park in Toronto, and the saga is likely far from over.

According to Ipsos pollster Darrell Bricker, the issue of government ethics crosses the political spectrum, and the reports from both the auditor general and integrity commissioner have only raised more questions.

Now the Ontario Liberals are calling on Premier Doug Ford to greenlight a greenbelt investigation run by the Ontario legislature.

The likelihood of that happening is quite low, and the government has already told the integrity commissioner that it is not waiving its right to keep cabinet records confidential. Global's Colin D'Mello has more on what might lie ahead for the premier’s future.
