In part two of a Global News exclusive, recently obtained documents show Ontario Premier Doug Ford instructed former housing minister Steve Clark to protect the Greenbelt when he first took office five years ago.

It is a stark contrast to what has happened since, with parts of the protected land now open for development in a process that has been denounced as “rushed” and “flawed.”
