Luggage pileups at Toronto Pearson airport leave some holiday travellers without bags

Some holiday travellers who have flown out of Toronto Pearson airport say they’ve had to wait days to be reunited with their luggage, with little communication from airline officials.
Images from Pearson airport show a chaotic scene, with hundreds of bags piled high after winter storms caused flight cancellations.

The Greater Toronto Airport Authority says weather-related flight disruptions and frozen loading equipment have caused the baggage backlog.

Seán O'Shea spoke with travellers at Pearson; some who have found their luggage and some who haven’t been so lucky.
