Several car thefts have been reported at Pearson Airport, with one Toronto-area man claiming that his vehicle was stolen while he was on vacation.
Peel Police have stated that hundreds of vehicles have gone missing from the airport's parking lot this year alone, sparking concern among travellers who leave their cars there.
“We need to have conversations about why it's so easy to export stolen vehicles,” said Deputy Chief Peel Regional Police Nick Milinovich.
Global's Sean O’Shea reports.
