Manitoba’s chief medical officer of health Dr. Brent Roussin reported 10 new deaths due to COVID-19 on Thursday, bringing the total number of deaths in the province to 256. Roussin went on to say 185 of the province’s total COVID-19 deaths were just in November, amounting to 70 per cent of the total, while October only saw 60 deaths.

Roussin made the comments during a COVID-19 briefing, where 383 new cases of the coronavirus were reported.

Asked about when people might expect a vaccine for the province, Roussin said they were preparing their COVID-19 vaccine roll out, but do not have specifics of when the vaccine will come. He said they're "planning" to receive the vaccine in early 2021, but it is not known if that will occur.
