Alberta's chief medical officer of health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, announced the province recorded 11 new deaths from COVID-19 on Wednesday.
During the media availability, Hinshaw also announced over 700 new cases of COVID-19 were detected.
The province's top doctor also spoke about the rise in COVID-19 cases with no known cause, saying she is disappointed with reports that certain groups and businesses are finding loopholes to avoid a two-week hard stop to slow the spread of COVID-19 in the province announced last week.
