A cold blast and a dump of snow right before the end of the workday resulted in a "commute from hell" across Metro Vancouver in B.C. on Thursday, as many streets turned into ice sheets.

Traffic moved at a crawl with cars and commercial trucks spinning out, with drivers facing limited visibility and snow-covered streets. Troy Charles reports.
