Namma Metro - the Bengaluru Metro - added 6 km to its north south line, the Green Line. This is expected to benefit around 75,000 commuters. Ridership is picking up again but it will take a while to hit that half a million figure again. The MD of the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation spoke to NDTV’s Maya Sharma at one of the new Metro stations.
