Canadian Defence Minister Anita Anand spoke to the media on Tuesday after meeting with the secretary-general of NATO in Brussels.

She highlighted Canada’s contributions to Ukraine amid the ongoing tensions with Russia.

Anand said Canada has expanded its operation in Ukraine, with increasing capacity of troops on the ground from 200 to 400.

Canada has also committed $50 million in economic and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, as well as cybersecurity and cyber-surveillance aid.
