Canada’s defence minister acknowledges challenges in aid delivery to Ukraine

Canada has been supporting Ukraine's war effort by training 39,000 Ukrainian troops and equipping soldiers in Poland.

The Canadian delegation met with top government officials to discuss how Canada could provide further assistance to Ukraine. While the work done by Canadians has been acknowledged, Canada has been criticized for not delivering aid fast enough.

Defence Minister Bill Blair has promised that the drones will be delivered as soon as April, but there is no timeline for the delivery of the missile air defence system bought a year ago.
