It's not a secret that Canada is still facing a housing crunch, with a shortage of both homes and construction workers to build new units.

Canada has the lowest number of housing units per capita of all the G7 countries and at our current pace of construction, housing stock is projected to increase by 19 million by 2030 - but to restore affordability, a total of about 22 million by that same year is needed.

As Anne Gaviola explains in the latest story in the "Automation Nation" series, experts say automation and robotics could be part of the solution.
