Canada's opioid epidemic and housing crisis are colliding, and the most recent data shows nearly 4,000 Canadians died during the first half of last year — that’s more than 20 deaths per day.
The devastation is plain to see in cities across the country, where housing is out of reach for many.
These challenges are fueling safety concerns in cities nationwide, including the nation's capital.
