What's next after Toronto Mayor John Tory's resignation?

It was a political bombshell out of Toronto city hall after Mayor John Tory announced he would resign after admitting to having had a relationship with a city staffer during the pandemic.

He apologized for the "serious error in judgment" and said he would work to ensure a smooth transition, but as Sean O'Shea reports many have been left in shock with some current city councillors saying he was well respected on both sides of the political spectrum.
