President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump sparred over the war in Ukraine during CNN's Presidential Debate.

Trump claimed that if Russian President Vladimir Putin had respected President Biden, Putin would not have invaded Ukraine. Trump also attacked Biden on the withdrawal of U.S. forces from Afghanistan and on his stance on Iran.

The June 27 CNN Presidential Debate was the first time Biden and Trump faced off this election season. It was also the first debate between a sitting and former president.
