President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump argued over abortion policy during CNN's Presidential Debate.

Biden said he supported Roe v. Wade, which was overturned by the Supreme Court in 2022, adding that decisions about abortion should be made by doctors, not politicians.

Trump focused on the dangers of "late-term abortions," which he described as radical and supported by Democrats. He repeated a false claim echoed by other Republicans that some states allow termination of an infant's life after birth. Doing so is not legal in any state.

The June 27 CNN Presidential Debate was the first time Biden and Trump faced off this election season. It was also the first debate between a sitting and former president.
