US President Joe Biden says federal funds will cover the first month of repair costs after tornadoes ripped through Kentucky and other neighbouring states.
Eighty-eight people were killed in storms across six states.
As he toured Kentucky he surveyed the damage that has left thousands of people without heat, water or electricity and pledged to do “whatever it takes, as long as it takes”.
