As long lines of Canadians wait to get passports or go through airports, a federal task force aimed at addressing the delays says the situation is slowly improving.

Everything from passports to airports, to immigration applications, has been thrown off-kilter this year, due to more demand and less staff.

For some people at the mercy of government services, the frustration continues, with travellers in Vancouver International Airport facing multi-hour lineups and missed flights on Sunday. Ross Lord reports.
