U.S. President Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau held a meeting discussing numerous topics as part of the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Biden said he thinks his country will be pre-occupied by the first hearings of the Jan. 6 committee that begins Thursday evening, while also remarking that "the possibilities for the hemisphere are unlimited."

Trudeau, meanwhile, discussed the strength of the Canada-U.S. partnership, the war in Ukraine, climate change and combating the high cost of living.

Earlier, Trudeau signed a memorandum of understanding on climate action and nature protection with the Governor of California Gavin Newsome.
