Summit of the Americas: Canada has opportunity to strengthen influence, experts say

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is in the U.S. for the Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles.

Trudeau and Defence Minister Anita Anand were first on the ground at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs for only a few hours late Tuesday.

Officials say there was no specific announcement associated with the visit but Trudeau will be briefed by military officials on NORAD's activities and on much-needed modernization.
