Authorities continue to probe a series of deadly stabbings in Saskatchewan in what has become one of the worst mass killings in Canadian history, while the province remains on edge with one suspect still at large.
At least 11 people are dead, including one of two suspects, and 19 are injured, RCMP officials said Monday. The rampage led across 13 locations in two villages north of Saskatoon in James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon.
The remaining suspect Myles Sanderson was still believed to be in Regina with an unknown person. He may also be injured, police say, but is still considered armed and dangerous.
Nathaniel Dove is on the ground in Melfort with the latest.
