Members of the Muslim in London, Ont., as well as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Paramount Fine Foods founder Mohamad Fakih, Toronto Raptors "superfan" Nav Bhatia, and many others, spoke Sunday ahead of a community-led march in London, Ont., to commemorate the tragedy of the family killed last year in what police have called a hate-motivated attack.

Four of the five members of the Afzaal family were killed while out for a walk after dinner. That evening, a young white man allegedly drove his truck into the family, killing four of them and injuring the young son, who was seriously hurt but survived. Prosecutors have said it was an act of terrorism. The trial is set to take place in the fall of 2023.
