Ontario's London Muslim Mosque is making funeral plans for the four victims of a family who were killed when a man drove into them with his truck. Meanwhile, relatives want to create an ongoing form of charity in honour of the slain family, practicing a Muslim concept known as Sadaqah Jariyah.
The future of the sole survivor of the attack, nine-year-old Fayez Afzaal, is also top of mind for the community. He’s been given a full scholarship to university, by an institution that wishes to remain anonymous.
