Defiant anti-coup protesters in Myanmar took to the streets once again on Thursday in a deepening crisis that saw at least 11 protesters killed in a northwestern town, according to local media.

Protesters in Launglon sang and marched in candlelight at dawn and later burned copies of the country's 2008 constitution.

In Dawei, demonstrators chanted slogans while marching with flags and pictures of leader Aung San Suu Kyi.
