An Ontario doctor is under fire with Health Minister Christine Elliott after she demanded an investigation into reports the he was handing out COVID-19 vaccine exemption letters for a $50 fee.
While the fee would not be against any rules, if a patient didn't qualify for any medical reasons, that could be a cause for discipline.
Dr. Christopher Hassell was the one allegedly giving out the cards and within hours of word getting out, he left his practice. Seán O'Shea reports on the investigation and the questions that are still being raised around such vaccine exemptions.
