In polling exclusive to Global News, Canadians say they want to see movement on affordability issues with this parliament, with 33 per cent making that their top issue. The COVID-19 pandemic and health care are second and third with 27 per cent and 25 per cent respectively. Housing and the economy round out the top five.

“They’re really focused on what’s going on in their own homes and what’s happening in their own lives, particularly relative to their own personal prosperity,” said Darrell Bricker, CEO of Ipsos, in an interview with Global News.
