Alberta’s chief medical officer of health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw, announced the province identified 1,307 new cases of COVID-19 and 10 additional deaths on Tuesday.

Hinshaw also addressed the upcoming holiday season saying, “this is not going to be the year for in person office parties, this is not going to be the year open houses or large dinners with friends and extended family."

She went on to urge people that if they were making holiday plans, "it is best to assume that you will still be limiting contact.”
