Coronavirus: Different curbing approaches taken in Canadian provinces as cases spike

More than 4,000 cases of COVID-19 have been reported nationally in the past two days, and despite the promising news regarding a possible vaccine candidate, provinces are still under restrictions.

Ontario and Quebec both reported over 1,000 cases on Monday, with 5 deaths in Ontario and 12 in Quebec, but Premier Doug Ford won’t consider a lockdown anymore.

Mike Drolet reports from Peel region, the only region in Ontario considered to be in the red "restricted" zone.

Heather Yourex-west looks at doctors’ fear in Alberta that voluntary restrictions won’t curb the spike in cases, as the province reported 644 new cases on Monday.

And Robin Gill reports on new regional restrictions taking place in British Columbia where outbreaks are happening.
