Although Canada's pandemic-driven surgery backlog is clearing up, patients are still waiting too long for procedures, according to the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI).

This is despite the efforts of hospitals throughout the country, that have been working overtime to help patients get the procedures they've been waiting on for months or years.
