Canada donates 18 million doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to COVAX program

The federal government has committed to the global COVAX program, a vaccine-sharing initiative that pools resources from wealthier nations to help inoculate people in low- and middle-income countries. In addition to this, Canada is also joining with UNICEF Canada to match donations, dollar for dollar, from individual Canadians.
