Following the chief prosecutor of the world’s top war crimes court seeking arrest warrants for leaders of Israel and Hamas on Monday, world leaders reacted to the International Criminal Court's (ICC) decision on Tuesday.
The warrants include Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Hamas leaders for actions taken during their seven-month conflict.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called for a ceasefire in Gaza but said equating democratically-elected officials to Hamas, which Canada has deemed a terrorist group, is "troubling."
Other officials echoed this sentiment, including Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who called the comparison "unacceptable."
