When asked in the CNN Presidential Debate whether he'd support the outcome of the 2024 election, even if he lost, former President Donald Trump said "if it's a fair and legal and good election, absolutely."

He falsely claimed that fraud in the 2020 election was "ridiculous." Election officials have described the presidential election that year as one of the safest and most secure elections in our nation's history. Claims of voter fraud by Trump's campaign have also been rejected in court.

Biden criticized Trump for continuing "to provoke this lie about somehow there's all this misrepresentation all the stealing."

"I doubt whether you'll accept it because you're such a whiner," Biden added.

The June 27 CNN Presidential Debate was the first time Biden and Trump faced off this election season. It was also the first debate between a sitting and former president.
