Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., on Wednesday commended Simone Biles, McKayla Maroney, Maggie Nichols and Aly Raisman, gymnasts and survivors of former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar, for sharing their stories. She asked what reforms they wanted to see take place and if anyone ever offered them a female agent to walk them through the process. Maroney said she never talked with a female agent, and explained how exhausted she was after telling her story. Biles and Raisman said they remember having one in the room with them, however Raisman said her main contact was with a male FBI agent.
