Austrian authorities currently believe the main suspect in the Vienna attack acted alone as investigators review 20,000 videos, Interior Minister Karl Nehammer said on Tuesday, adding police had arrested 14 people linked to the man.

A 20-year-old Austrian-North Macedonian dual citizen, shot dead by police at the scene, is the chief suspect in the shooting which left four dead and 22 injured in the "tragic terror night," Nehammer said.

Officers raided 18 residences in their investigations.

In his remarks, Nehammer praised "two Austrians with migrant backgrounds" who he said had pulled a seriously injured policeman out of the firing line.

According to the interior minister, the officer's condition is "currently stable and the operation was a success."
