U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken met on Wednesday with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday.

Blinken said the U.S. is still looking at “many months of conflict” in Ukraine but Russia could end the war tomorrow.

He reiterated U.S.’s support to Ukraine “as long as the war goes on.”

Blinken highlighted the recent $700 million weapons package the U.S. recently announced in assistance to Ukraine.

He also said Ukraine has given the U.S. reassurance it will not use U.S.-provided advanced rocket systems to hit targets inside Russian territory.

Blinken welcomed Sweden’s and Finland’s applications to join NATO, while Stoltenberg said a meeting will be convened in Brussels with senior officials from Sweden, Finland and Turkey to discuss Turkey's opposition to them joining the defense alliance.
